Travel & Flights

All your travel is included in our Alcoholism treatment package price of £2800. We’ll organise your flights and travel to the alcoholism treatment clinic in Riga, all you have to do is get to your nearest international airport and Aluston Health will take care of the rest.

Flights
Most major airports in the UK and Ireland have flights to Riga, including Birmingham, Bristol, Dublin, East Midlands, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle and all London airports. We can also arrange travel from other European countries if needs be. Usually we arrange travel with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines but we can arrange for flights with other carriers too.

Please make sure that  you don't drink in the six hours leading up to your flight. Airline staff may not allow you onto the plane if you arrive visibly drunk and you will not be able to travel. In this event you will lose your payment.

Transfers
After a flight that usually takes around two and a half hours you will be collected at the airport and chauffeur driven to our clinic in the heart of Riga to start your treatment. After your treatment you will be driven back to the airport in good time for your flight back home.

Before you travel please make sure you have the relevant documentation. You will of course need your passport, and for any trip to a European country you should have a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). You can apply for one of these here. http://www.nhs.uk/nhsengland/Healthcareabroad/pages/Healthcareabroad.aspx.

As you will be traveling specifically for medical treatment however you should be aware of the information covered here http://www.nhs.uk/NHSEngland/Healthcareabroad/Pages/Plannedtreatment.aspx.
